But since i made the promise (and broken it many times) to revive my blog even with random thoughts so here it goes..

Tomorro is my first day at school!

been here for like 3 weeks already and at last school starts officially for me.. Yay!

i should be glad i am studying again especially since there will only be 3 days of school and my timetable is awfuly empty compared to others. BUT i got this tugging feeling that once uni starts assignments and work will all be pouring..

See how the first day goes then.. :)

Side update on life in Perth.. i've kinda settle well into village even gotten a new nickname that rocks.. My new nickname is TIGER.. not sure how it came about after the night out at the casino club on CNY eve but its cool.. hanging out and eating at the other units and even met the few singaporean (*at last) in the village.

Lots of events coming up, heard there's a beach party coming up this weekend! Cannot wait! will post more pictures soon.. meanwhile check these (photos)

Its been a few days already since i reach Perth, still a bit daze, a bit missing home and trying to get use to the culture here. Its not as if its the first time i'm flying alone or been in Australia but it is still dawning on me that i'm finally here for my studies.

Even to the last min at the airport i was thinking, maybe i should just turn back now and lead life the same way I'm so darn used too..

My uncle's wedding here in Perth in September, my best friend studying in UK, my ORD from army. Somehow it just dawn on me that

You just have to move on in life!

You have to keep moving on, move out of your comfort zone, accept changes and make the best of these changes in life. No longer are we in the times where we keep waiting for things to happen, we have to want and fight for these things now. And yes, I am Defying Gravity!

On the side note, everything fine for the moment. Thank you everybody who came for my farewell party, my family who also came to the airport to send me off.. Already check into my room and its surrounding quite nice. Bought a bit of stuff, new alarm clock radio with ipod connectivity, lots of groceries.. it doesn't feels like home but it sure have to be for the next 3 years.. I bought pineapple tarts yay!!

i feel happy that i'm reviving this blog too, I've always made myself super busy and here I am slowly relaxing and therefore can type my blog hehe.. kk will update more photos when i have time!

KL Trip
a very belated post.. post is very photo intensive, yup anyway the month of december had been really super fun, all this especially with the company of them..

finally! after months of planing and anticipation, we are on our first holiday together.. in fact the idea had been around for a long time already since we were way back in poly.

so here we go.. leaving singapore for kl on the 19 for the 4 days trip

immediately after checking in, we headed straight to Jalan Bukit Bintan for shopping lol.. the entire place there is almost exactly the same as singapore's orchard road with shopping malls very similar in nature with ours.. Pavillion is to Takashimaya as Time Square is to Queensway/Far East Square.. Prices there are generally the same too although the exchange rates helps alot.. But like all shopping trips.. its the hidden bargains and discounts that gives it all its thrills.. heh..

Perhaps cuz i had alot of things i wanted to buy.. I bought a new pair of shoes, cds, books, toys and more.. lol.. Lots of bargain to look out for when ya in KL. Chinatown or petaling street has alot of fake goods.. but very cheap! Sungei Wang and BB Plaza, on of the malls in Jalan Bukit Bintang, has a mixture of real and fakes which are also great bargains.. Look out for the big chain of sport jersy shops(real) and victoria music centre(also real) which sells really mark down CDs and soccer jersys.. Kinokuniya at KLCC also has a wide range of books which are slightly cheaper den SG.. I been there twice and they also carry books before we do..

All in all we did nothing but shopping and shopping.. oh fishspa and kbox too at time square! :D

On the last night, we all decided to dress to our nines and head over to the chic Traders Hotel's 33th Storey Sky Bar for drinks to cheers and view at the amazing Twin Towers..

Just came back from my unit's MTL BBQ/Cohesion at ECP.. Really glad that everyone who could make it was there even with the slight mix up in timing and stuff.. The cohesion was pretty fun and I think we were just within budget! : D

Coincidently.. A very close friend of mine is also flying of today to Oregon for half a year for studies.. All the best ya? and you will be missed dearly..

The "I Am BACK" Post

My Gosh.. I haven been blogging in ages..
Its been so long.. i think that this little corner of the www really had cobwebs lol..
Despite the constant urging of my friends who faithfully (thank ya) reads sobrandom, i just don't have the drive or time to update the blog.
Perhaps its the fact that there was really nothing interesting to blog.

October - As usual, the month went busy awfully slow, tiring and boring. My birthday month was plague with army duties, sweeps and burnt weekends. Work Work Work!

10 Nov - Finally after not meeting up with them for such a long time, the gang met for lunch at Big Splash. Under my suggestion! :D
Cuz of my army details, i travelled by ECP quite often and kept passing by the newly renovated Big Splash. Wanted to explore the place a bit more but it was raining that day.. in the end we decided to just stay in Sushi Tei. So we celebrated our oct&nov babies birthdays all at once heh.. after that we then headed to TCC at suntec to discuss on our KL Trip.

16 Nov - Avenue Q the Musical!
Finally.. after waiting for so long I got to watch the musical with Jesmine, Mei Fong and My Sis.. haven met Jesmine for sometime so it was nice to be able to catch up with her.. :) The musical was fantastic!! very obscene and yet very relatable as well.

28 Nov - Watched Cape no.7 with Sihui.. Suddenly decided to call her out and lucky she was free to join me for dinner. Movie was also unplanned but since we were at north point we decided to check out what shows were showing. Lucky her.. she watched almost everything available 'cept City of ember and Cape no.7. The movie's actually really good and its themes are really heartwarming. Makes me wanna go to Taiwan for a holiday..5 Dec - Natasha's 21st Birthday was a blast.. It feels good to be around people who simply likes you just the way you are and enjoys being around with you. Anyway.. Nat just came back from melbourne and she invited the few of us over to a very last min 21st party/sleepover at the grandcoptorn hotel.. And as usual the Musical Bunch are a fun bunch of people to hang out with! : )

The performer inside me has been screaming let me out for a long time and at last i'm back on stage.. Playing for the Yuying Alumni Winds has brighten my day for the past weeks. The band has changed so much over the pass years and i'm happy for them. Come to think of it, it's been almost 10 years since my music journey with YYCB started in 1999.. heck that i was the oldest(strikeout)eldest member playing that night.

As The Cars Races By..

As The Cars Races By.It suddenly dawn to me that F1 is finally in Singapore. All the preparation, planning and hype about F1 and now it's really in Singapore. There were definately many things to improve, such as the attitude of the volunteers and the various amenities such as food stalls & toliets. But it was definately fun to be there la.. lol Inside shots of the F1 circuit park.

I damn wanted to get a Ferrari race cap but it was really expensive.. zzz

Oh I guess I'm kinda overworked, fever for a week, left eye twitching.. cuz right after F1 we had alot of paperwork to settle and some of the guys were on leave. Which kinda left the rest of us doing alot more duties and details.

Had to take off to see the doc and since I was at AMK polyclinic, I decided to go borrow some books for the weekend to read as I'm doing my camp duties.. Borrow 2 books, the one below and another one titled "Why cant i .... in ...." haha.. Just for the fun of it la.. but the AMK library is a really nice place to study.

haha.. finally a proper entry after almost three months..
well yups, haven been blogging cause of all the busy army schedules and other more important things to do beside blogging. Actually its more like to lazy to blog hehe.. alright la quick update on life!

Highlight of the week!
Kinda got my first bomb activation thus week, a WWII war relic was found at a construction site and the team from my unit were there to verify it. Wasn't involved initially but was ask to help out, so yup i tagged along and got the chance to witness the bomb first hand. After which we were then escorted by police out of the site to the clearing area. So cool la.. it was even reported on the news..

Class Chalet
Every now and then, without fail my dearest classmates from poly year 1 would always meet up or plan a chalet together. Its always conforting that despite all our crazy schedules, hectic lifestyles and unhappy works days, we always will have each other to lean on..
Looking forward to our KL Trip in Dec! : D

Timbre Music Fest on Campus
I went out with jesmine to watch timbre music fest at NUS during one of my nights out.. 2359 so yup i travelled from changi all the to clementi to join her, gave her a bag of Amos Cookies lol.. Anyway it was really fantastic that night, there was free beer and performances by local and overseas acts. We always wanted to try Timbre since our first outing to the Art House previously, finally we did! Darn thing was that we both din win any of the lucky draw prizes they had that day.. Macbook Air~ ...

CFG
Ang Mo Kio West Chapter Friendship Gathering went on really smoothly.. Host for the event was me and my dear sister. We did practice a bit the days leading up to it and Sis was pretty worried as she had to do her role in chinese while i got away with english. Due to the packed schedule and me and my sister great chemistry on the spot, the entire CFG felt like a rock concert! Jia you all the other chapters!!

F1 Participation
Well The formula one race is just round the corner and i'm really exicited to be doing army ops for it. Knowing that I will be involved, i did some read up on the teams and stuff. For dummies.. the Singapore F1 GP will be the first street night race and will be thru the city. Some of the seniors said ops going to be boring but hey! I'm sure the excitement and atmosphere that day will spill over to us!

There so many things I wanna do over the weekends. Maybe due to the boring everyday schedule I kinda get frustrated at things too.. There was even a week that I missed two auditions and I been wanting to go to my poly and sec school alumini band pract. I seriously missed the performing side of life!
I want people who understands and support my asprirations too..

Night at the museum - Singapore Night Festival

Pretty cool and well planned event, the Singapore Night Festival which is happening for the first time this year was really well attended. Usually museum are like the last place you find hoards of people eating, taking pictures and enjoying themselves, yet this event was really good. Best of all its free admission!!
Not going to do much talking.. rushing for a overnight race later just hope you enjoy the pictures!

Well.. Besides all the free admission to the museum, they had other cool happenings such as exhibits and movie screenings and even a party in the park at SMU just opposite the National Museum of Singapore.

Had this pretty cool fringe event which you give a keyword and some poet will just type out a poem for you.. Will share the random poem another time!

Of Extraction and Audition

Just extracted a wisdom tooth this morning!
Haven visited a dentist in ages and this one visit straight away did a tooth extraction liaos.. lol.. Was given a few injections, the wisdom tooth came out pretty swiftly, although I could see the dentist struggling a bit to try and get the tooth loose. Overall now not much of a pain la but its still a little sore, cant yawn or open my jaw too much. : )
At least no more pains and headache which I've having for a long time.

Weekend was pretty packed as usual, rushing here and there all day long. Stomp last performance at Tampines Stadium. I joined in to play this time haha had fun with everyone as it was raining heavily during our item, same instrument with my sister "shakers". Lost my house keys which I eventually got it back today when I went back today to find it.

Went for Don't Forget the Lyrics auditions in this yesterday. Was afraid i look too brown yet everyone say it look really good! My aunty and grandma all said the color was nice on me, lol.. gotta thank Jesmine who help picked the top out when we went shopping together the other time.
Auditions were alright ha, producer said I had a good profile and sounded not bad. But I got stump a little when he asked why I should be on the show.. Fingers Cross!

You know its the durian season when you start getting wiffs of the smells at all the wrong places! haha.. The season which last for about a month from july to august usually gets people sniffing and eating like monkeys.
Driving along and inside the mandai camp area, I constantly see durian pickers sneaking out for the jungle with sacks of durian.
Arg! I want my my own sack of durian too!!
Anyone up for some durian hunting? haha..

Underpressure!

My Traffic Police (TP) test is just next week and I’m feeling under pressure to pass it.. Heh! Cause firstly I’m already a class 3 driver (got it for 2 years already) and everyone in camp has been saying comparing that I should be better and pass it first time. I thought I should pass it first time too,. haha kinda confident that I actually already remove half of the stuff out of my cupboard already.. lol.
Under pressure secondly also cause once you passed TP, you get to stay out.. yay which means more freedom and oh the coming Thursday july 10 there’s a Arts festival volunteer appreciation dinner which I also hope I could attend... provided I pass first time again.. lol
I know I’m there, its just how safe my driving is that will matter if I pass my driving or not. So besides running through the traffic rules in my head I decided that this weekend would be great to unwind and relax.
After booking out on Saturday, went shopping with Jesmine in orchard and bugis.. Pretty happy with myself,

Shopping List : CD/Books, Shoes/Sandals, Clothes, Watches.
Shopping Busket: Backstreet Boys CD, Tim Burton Book, Stripe Shirt, a Sanuk(half shoe half sandal)
That’s like a almost all I wanted.. lol..
Sunday was Milkrun day and I followed my Sis to it, felt kinda weird cause last year I was the chorographers and now I’m just there to watch them. Well I did help them here and there over the past few trainings and wasn’t expecting them to reward me or anything, but hey they got me a Stomp Trainer t-shirt.. so nice of them.. : )
Oh well after that we went to watch movie with her shakers group. Went to catch Hancock, Ok so a Short Movie Review..
It was pretty fantastic actually, had what all superhero movies usually had, themes like Action, Love, Discovery of Powers. Weaknesses and Supervillians.. Expect twist! Will give it a decent 3.5 out of 5, despite so.. the 6 of the 16 peeps who watch fell asleep.. lol guess it’s a tab over for the tired stompers.. :)

The past few weeks has been awfully boring, due to the compulsory require hours of sleep for driving, book out hours are short and the entire day is spend driving in the circuit or on the road. Imagine waking up, breakfast go to driving and comeback and sleep again.

Despite this I've been having these morning songs in my head, and sometime they really just pop out the very moment I wake up. LOL.. The guys started complaining that I was noisy again early in the day but hey.. a morning song can really brighten up your day man..

Past few weekends has been pretty busy too, volunteering, Buddhist activities, stuffs. The Great Singapore Sale (GSS) and Singapore Arts Festival started officially on May 23th. And I so wanna go shopping!! Pay day lai liao.. haha.. and thou the pay of an NSF ain't alot, its could get me stuff I need.

The new camp we staying in is so much more comfortable then the previous one and each bunk only have 8 to 10 people compare to the 13 which we had. Too comfortable that lately my bunk mates heard me sleeptalking. lol!

So far driving is fun and I also try to help the rest around especially since I already hold a class 3 driving license for 2 years plus already. But I keep getting this annoying headache on the right side of the face. It was pain and sore and felt like someone had given me a punch. This not just affected my driving I also couldn't talk or eat properly due to the pain and numbness.

Wisdom Tooth

After 2 weeks of unbearable pain, I finally went to the MO and what I initially tought was heatiness or mumps turned out to be swelling of my gums due to the top and bottom wisdom tooth coming out. Ouch, its still hurts as I am blogging now but I've book an appointment with the dentist already so no worries I suppose.

Singapore Arts Festival 2008

Back from my second duty at the Singapore Arts Festival Maze..
Its My second year in a row already and like last year, my role as a volunteer was to help inform the public of whats happening for the festival and also help man the booth at Raffles City.

As usual, the arts installation is at Raffles City at the open space facing Capitol Building. This year's one resembles a maze and is bigger, more 'funner' then last year.
The festival opening which is happening on the 23 - 25 may will be at Boat Quay 8pm. Its an act from France called Water Fools, which tells the story of a man who travel into the singapore waters. Expect to see lots of water and fire works at the spectacular on water!!

Movie Review: Made Of Honor

MADEofHONOR, which opens here in Singapore on 15th May, is a romantic comedy about Tom (Patrick Dempsey from Grey's Anatomy) and Hannah (Michelle Monaghan from Gone Baby Gone) who are Best Friends for 10 years. Beside hanging out with Hannah, Tom would date different girls every week. Hannah leaves him to Scotland for 6weeks and returns engaged to the perfect guy. During this time Tom tries to tell her, his feelings for her and then decides to become the MOH (Maid of Honor) to try and steal her back.

The movie overall was pretty good, yes it had the typical "Chick Flick" signs written all over it. But what i felt was good in this particular film is how the mood of the movie was carried out. The heart wrenching moments are always subtly interrupted by the funny moments in the script. The choice of music and scene locations adds on to the overall pleasantness's of the movie. The characters were also believable and therefore would made the audience feel for them.

Been to Ikea? Bet you had taken home 1 or 2 of their pencil "unknowingly" huh!
In fact I have one snug in my file with me all the time.. haha..

So how about taking a thousand of these Ikea Pencils to give out as a symbol of International Understanding Day.. *check news article here..

For those who didn't read the article, Sec1 students from RVHS came up with this idea to stick little Italian flags onto Ikea Pencils to give away to their friends. Cute! I want one!! But well.. have to give it up to them students for coming up with such a interesting idea.

In fact another group of students, this time from SMU, decided to test it out how powerful a simple 'Ikea' Pencil is..

Reading the two news articles got me thinking of a picture I seen somewhere of a stack of Ikea Pencils. Bet ya'll aint the only one creative about pencils after all.. (",)

The Not About Army Army Post

Well.. Hellos Blog! Helloo to everyone too..

Its been 13 weeks exactly since I have been away from this blog of mine and somehow like a blink of an eye (or the scroll of your mouse down) I have finally completed my Basic Military Training. Yeah! pop on 110308..

BMT has been really interesting and eye opening indeed, during this time holidays were abundant, barely into 5 days and I was already out of camp on a fever. This was followed by Hari Raya, Christmas, New year and Chinese new year book outs.. good life you may think.. What made the deal even sweeter was the sea view of Singapore right outside my window. We were the only company who had the privilege of this sea view and everyday you could watch the plane take off and land from afar. Especially during the Singapore Air Show, the spectaculars were just in front of us and the planes flew right over us.

"Miss The Things You Love, and yet Wished You Loved More Things"

During certain times of the day (sunset etc) it had the most wonderful view of the sea and its coastal line. It was the kind you wished someone special was beside you to enjoy its beauty. Singapore never looked so near across the sea but yet so far..

Oh forgotten to mention that I was posted to U Coy Platoon 2 Section 2. U stands for Ulysses which is the Latin name for an ancient Greek character. The batch in particular consisted of mostly JC students with the few minority of Polytechnic, PHDs (polyhalf-waydrop) and foreigners in the entire company. Overall my platoon had a good mix of us and we also had better performance compared to the others. Best Platoon of the company lor!!

It is as exciting as it can get!

During these 3 months we did many very memorable activities, stuff that will be remember by every soildier for a long time. 24km route march, throwing of a hand grenade or firing at a live range and the infamous field camp. It was damn thrilling to throw the hand grenade something each of us gets to do once in an army lifetime.

It’s amazing how the army changes mindsets, stuff like the 24km march which were once thought impossible could be done after all. I guess its a way trains us all to be a Real Man after all.

Looking forward to my next vocation! I know the 2 years of National Service will go by really fast and the skills we learn will be crucial for the protection of our country and love ones.

In a very few short hours time, Mr Brandon "Random" Ong will be Recruit Ong. I will be entering army later today and this could possibly be my last post for a long time. As mention I don't think many people read my blog but I'm grateful to those who did.

The blog has kinda been my travelog or a diary and ya despite sleepless night scratching heads on completing entries, it's been fun.

Last couple of days met up with my poly buddies and friends. Great to have known them all and great to know there is always them beside you. So many people to thanks and pictures to put up but no time no time.. hah.. haven change handphone! haha..

The Best Weekend Ever!!

Perhaps its cause I had so much fun over the past few days, I woke up today dreading that its 3 days left till my army enlistment. Blah! Today’s post will be pretty lengthly as I combine stuff I had over the past few days. Events are from latest till oldest.

This weekend was so soo.. much better then the previous one. Firstly it was packed with activities and most importantly I had fun! Yay!

ZoukOut 2007
23,000 people attended ZoukOut this year and it was simply fantastic! With world-class Djs such as Armin Van Buuren (World No1 Dj) and Carl Cox (Godfather of UK Techno) hitting the decks at the main arena. Its was really the best clubbing experience I had ever.

Enjoy myself most at the Mambo Jambo Section of ZoukOut. It was so cool la!! My uncle and aunty were also enjoying themselves with the hits of the 80s. After Mambo Jambo ended, we walked around a bit before heading back to the hotel. They had a room at the Siloso Resort, really nice place right next to the beach (and ZoukOut/CafeDelMar) and the rooms were really big.

I then went back in again to soak up more of the music at the festival.

Saturday 8 Dec (before ZoukOut)

The day started out okay, slept till the late morning and basically just got ready myself for the day upcoming. Went to Joyce 21st bdae party at her house in the afternoon, Happy Birthday again to you! so sorry I couldn't stay till you cut your cake. I had to rush off for a performance at tampines. Was involved in a youth dance item, we were doing "We're All In This Together" for AMK Zone Friendship Meeting.

Friday 7 Dec

Organised a steamboat session for my ndp07 mates, will attandance wasn't really good as many of them had things on and couldn't make it. Either way the 6 of us (weitong,mingkiat,kailiang,zoey,angela&me) had fun la.. I could have eaten more actually ha..

For those who didn't know, i was also inside this year's NDP 07 'There's no place I rather be'mtv. Haha.. try spotting the purple shirt me at the end of the scene. I also performed 'Will You' during SP National Day Observation Ceremony.

Thursday 6 Dec

1 week before army! Arranged to down with jesmine and tyng feng to bugis area to eat and chill out. We first ate at cafe le caire which serves really good middle eastern and arabic food. My third time there already lol.. Nasir introduce this nice place the last time when we went for section outing.

After dinner we head over from arab street to bali lane(which is just next to each other) to Blu Jaz Bar & Cafe. Really nice place with very eccentric furnitures. The music in the Blu Jaz was also really nice, and both level has completely different mood to it. A definate must go if you like Jazz or Chill out Pubs. From what I know, there's live jazz music on the weekend..

I Baked Cookies!

Haha.. chocolate chip and double chocolate. It turn out pretty well except that they were pretty soft after coming out of the oven and mum had to baked them again.

I maybe dreading army now but hmm.. I guess I am more or less ready already, until then.. I'm gonna enjoy myself! ha.. its been a very long post and I kinda also think no one knows about the blog as well.. if you read all the way here goodonya! Thanks in advance also if you enjoy it.

The Worst Weekend Ever!

You'd know that your weekend was going to be bad when you had to work early the whole day on a bright sunny saturday morning. To top that on you see shitty people and hear unnecessary comments from them that really shows how shallow the world is.

Saturday 1 Dec
Had to be down at the National Museum of Singapore to set up booth for ARC, its was for Creative24 an event organised by the CreativeCommunitySG. Its basically an 24 hours event where the various comunnity projects of CCS get to show their works and network. Despite the buzz it created, the event was not very successful. Most of the visitors to the museum didn't had an idea what was going on. It was so bad that VA had to cancel our songwriting workshop as no one turn up. Despite my efforts to pull people to the event no one seem interested, the organiser weren't the least helpful as well.

Our last performance was also to an empty crowd.. oh remember what i said about unnecessary comments? Well I had mine delivered loudly over the Sound System in the middle of a performance, "Brandon! You Suck!!" Miss? I know you are pretty good with the mic and your from NgeeAnn Mass Com but.. aint you just rude. You see, there was absolutely no one there and my event was up next. And in a bid to try and catch some attention, I went on stage to make an announcement. She obviously knew she could do it better but simply watch me made a fool of myself before snatching the mic back to herself. After which she made the statement during a very painful rendition of L.O.V.E.

After the day I was left wondering, why din I say yes to the 4 day IT Show job at Expo which wouldn't put me thru these much hard work and humiliation. Lucky for doreen who stayed back and help me carry everything to the taxi.

Sunday 2 Dec
Blured from the series of events the day before, I just couldn't function properly. My family had to repeat everything they said to me twice and I was a big road hazard in the car. My PSP dropped, and I scream at my little cousin for it, I scream at myself for not taking care of it.. zzz
It was my Second Last Sunday before army and I was stucked at home. Could have gone to the last day of Sitex to buy mp3 or memory, could have also gone to Takashimaya to see if she was there but no.. i was at home.

The weekend was really the worst I had in a long time.. : Lets hope the week ahead gets better!

Channel U Campus Yummy Hunt @ NP

Not so long ago, on thursday, I went food tasting for Channel U Campus Yummy Hunt at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. So fun la! went alone so was pretty scary but still at the end of the day did get comfortable enough to chit chat with the other food tasters.
We were part of a group of 30 public tasters who went around with the two host (desmond koh and felicia chin) to taste dishes from 3 stalls recommended by the student campus guide.

So yup, the day started with the food tasters gathering at mediacorp taxi stand at 9.30am. From there we were transported by bus to NP. First stall was Canteen 1 Yong Tau Foo, which I actually ate previously when I was in NP. And cause I mentioned that I had it before, I was picked for an interview. Lol.. so scary la.. my chinese wasn't the best and during the interview felicia chin was quite close up.

Overall, the food were pretty good the yong tau foo was pretty okay,except! I dont eat tofu and had trouble swallowing it down.. Location 2 Jap food was also pretty yummy, that plate they offered to us cost on 3 dollars so super worth it! ya! The baked rice at the end was too much to handle but it was quite good, its baked rice yet its like hainanies chicken rice, east meets west.

This espisode of Campus Yummy Hunt will be shown on 4th Dec Tuesday 8pm on Channel U. First espisode of Singapore Poly will be showing today 27th Nov 8pm.

Woke up right at the dot of 9.30 ha! was late, and everyone in the family was too.. haha. Mum had community work at 10am, Sis had school at 10am and I had to be at the mediacorp reception at 10am! ha.. It was too cosy already as outside was raining non stop anyway i reached slightly after 10.

It was indeed fun and interesting being on air of a live radio broadcast. The host Stanley Leong was really good, he made us all feel very much comfortable during the hour we were inside. He later on even gave us a tour upstair at the other studios, visited Yes 933, Perfect 10 and Class 95.

The 10 Things To Do Before Entering NS

As my army enlistment date draws near, I left myself to wonder, what is it that I really really want to do before I enter. 13 Dec is just a few week away and I might not have the time (and strength) to do some of the things I liked or always wish to do.

So i bring you the top ten list of things i really wana do before i enter army

Visit "Sentosa" - Soon i will be stuck on another island, "Tekong". So its definately a must to visit the much more happier and sunny island of Sentosa. Zouk out! Cafe Del Mar and Siloso Beach seem to be calling my name!
Watch Movies - I've watching a few movies and tv shows online recently but nothing beat going to the movies. Best still if its a good movie and its the premier screening.
Catch up with old friends - Army can be the most anti social period of the human life, stuck in camp, out only on weekends. Arg! reason why we lose touch with people we know is cause we don't get in touch. So from now to dec, catch me or i'll catch you. : )
Visit Changi Airport! - The Singapore Changi Airport has always been one of the places i love alot. Flying has always made me uneasy but its always welcoming to know that at the end of your trip, the airport is there to welcome you. Having voluteered at the airport as a CYA(changi youth ambassdor) for almost 2 years, it was fantastic to be inside the transit area so often.
Go Clubbing - I know, i hate getting wasted and useless and sleep deprived like people do after a hard night of partying but hey! before i lose my hair to the barber blades, i wana go clubbing. But not Mos please.
Learn to Sing, Dance and Act!! - Army can be boring and before i enter, i want to make sure i learn some singing, dancing and acting! I am also keeping my hopes up for the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company. I've already started classes for all 3, although they all may not be the best, learn as much I will.
Enjoy myself at the Game Arcade! - When was the last time you been to the game arcade? Well nothing beat gunning down zombies and catch the uncatchable soft toys. Singapore version of a Carnival, the video game arcade.
Chill out at the Pub - Pubbing is getting really popular these days, a big meal, some great soccer actions and a nice cold beer to down it all. Thats life man!
Appear in a Food Column/Programme - That's it i'm going to give it a shot at this, especially when this is dependent on the reporter or producer. I know Newpaper has one and Channel U already has one going on, they will be going around schools to taste the best food. For more information check out http://u.mediacorptv.sg/yummy .
Try something Exciting!! - Cable wake boarding, Capoeira or even skate boarding! something that get the heart pumping -for excitement not training. I'm not the sort who dares to do everything but a little fear wont kill me. Afterall i been to Escape themepark and survied! Thankfully

There would have been a 11 on this list but that would be impossible and unrealistic, anyway my psp has help solve the absent of no 11.

The Belated Birthday Post

For those of ya who didn't noe or wasn't at my party, i celebrated my 21st birthday last month on the 20th of October. Lots of people turn up, relatives, family, cousin, friends and even party crashers.. lol! My party actually had uninvited guest, people staying around my condo actually came down to have a taste of my party! Literally!!

So everything went well, i had lots of ang paos, presents and definately fun with the whole event. Yes, i use the term event as it was entirely planned by me and my mum, we had cocktail tables, drinks counters, door gifts and even stage games and live music! Yet sadly quite a handful of people missed it..

The First Post

Well.. Others name their first post many names, i shall name mine, "The First Post". As its indeed my first time posting in my very own blog. If you were just browsing and found this, welcome!

Have been wanting to do up one for a long time, but everytime i get to the registration part i get stuck. Its just hard to think of a name for a blog, and its sure is harder to name a blog compare to a baby. The world has so many people with the same name, (brandon for example appeared in a sec 2 class 3 times) similar to birthdays (coincidently the same 3 times for me and 2 other). A blog however cant have the same name, so you aint going to find another sobrandom.blogspot.com too..

Anyway, yup the blog came up finally once the name was settled. Arriving from a nickname, brandom EQUAL brandon + random Which explains my actions at times. So as the name goes..
Be Random cause you never know what will happen! (",)

Its quite late now so i guess i just leave you with a preview to my next post.
